Lincoln Land travelled to St. Louis Community College and came out with a 76-65 non-conference victory.

The Loggers and the St. Louis Community College Archers played earlier this season at Cass Gymnasium and the Archers bested Lincoln Land 86-60 and the Loggers returned the loss. Lincoln Land came out flat and trailed by as many as 10 early. Lincoln Land slowly chipped away at the lead and were able to take a 38-34 lead into half.

The second half has been were Lincoln Land has struggled this season relinquishing many leads down the stretch, but a hot start in the second period propelled the Loggers to victory. On the way to victory Lincoln Land led by as many as 18. The Archers were able to keep the game close enough that the Loggers were not able to be comfortable. Lincoln Land handled the pressure and came out with the 76-65 victory.

Coach Chad Jones felt much better after the rematch tonight, "We played this team earlier in the year and the result was not pretty, but we came in with the mindset that this game was a must-win. This was a big win for us and hopefully this propels us forward as we close out our conference season."

Lincoln Land was led in scoring by Marcus Graham who had 38 which ties a career high. Lincoln Land also had Kendall Davis with 13. LLCC improves to 12-13 and looks to keep their winning ways Saturday against conference for Lincoln in Lincoln.
