Lincoln Land Community College took on Millikin University JV in two best of three matches. LLCC swept Millikin in both short matches this evening behind the hitting of Carlinville native Jordan Ballinger who hit 1.000 and .625 in the two matches. The Loggers won the first match (Blue) 25-19, 25-10 and finished strong (White) 25-11, 25-21.

Lindsay Hathcoat had 15 digs tonight along with 12 by Kinzie Neilson. Taylor Harper collected total of 37 assists in both matches. Freshman Tyler Baskett also contributed with 12 assists. Sami Voils and Jordan Ballinger combined for 21 kills in the double victory tonight.

"We wanted to work on some stuff tonight from the coaching side of things as well as evaluating some players and trying to fit people in/around our rotations. This was good preparation for this weekend's tournament at Marshalltown and a couple of tough matches, especially #11 Des Moines Area College."

LLCC improved their record to 10-1. The Loggers will head to the Marshalltown Invitational on Friday/Saturday to take on Southwestern Iowa in their first match.
