The Loggers met the Heartland Hawks in their second game of Region 24 Tournament.  The Loggers scored first but the Hawks responded with 2 runs in the bottom half of the 1^st inning and another run in the second.  Lincoln Land came back with 3 runs in the 5^th to take the lead 4-3.  Heartland scored 5 runs in the 6^th inning on 4 hits.  The Loggers were unable produce runs in last three innings and lost their second game 8-4.

The Loggers left 9 runners on base even though they produced 10 hits.  Corey Fanning led the Logger hitters going 3-for-4 with a double.  Jarod Pellman was 2-for-5 with 2 RBI.  Ryan Aper also collected 2 hits.   Derringer Huff (3-9) was the losing pitcher, going 5.1 innings.  Huff gave up 9 hits and allowed 7 runs and striking out 6.  Brendan Fickert relieved Huff and pitched the remaining 2.2 innings.

Lincoln Land will play the winner between Parkland and Danville at 3 pm.
