Ryan Aper, Jerod Pellman and Max Rhodes each went 2-for-3 in game one as the Loggers defeated the Danville Cougars 4-3. Aper tripled to center and scored on a double by Jake Ingold in the 3
rd inning. Blake Gand then singled to left driving in Jerod Pellman, who had walked, and Ingold to take the lead 4-1. Kyle Culli was the winning pitcher for the Loggers. Culli went the distance allowing 3 runs on 5 hits with 7 strike outs.
The Loggers scored 6 runs on 6 hits in game two of the double header to win 6-1. Derringer Huff went the distance allowing 1 run on 5 hits and striking out 8 Cougar hitters. Ryan Aper was 2-for-4 with a triple. Jake Ingold was 1-for-2 with a homerun and 2 RBI.
