LLCC scored 9 runs in the 4^th inning of game one to beat Spoon River 15-4.  The Logger hitters posted 14 hits to 7 hits for Spoon River.  Kyle Culli (4-1 record) was the winning pitcher.  Culli went 4 innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits.  Brendan Fickert relieved Culli in the 5^th inning.  The Loggers won by the 10 run rule in 5 innings of play. 

Blake Gand was 3-for-3 with 3 RBI and Jake Ingold went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI.   Brandon Weller also had multiple hits in game one going 2-for-4 with 1 RBI.  Loggers with extra base hits were Ingold, Weller, Jake Lance and Corey Fanning all hitting doubles.  Ryan Aper had a triple in the first game victory.

Game two was similar to game one as the Loggers defeated Spoon River by the run rule 10-0.  LLCC brought their bats today posting 14 hits in the second game (28 hits total).  Ryan Aper, Jake Ingold and Brandon Weller each belted homeruns for LLCC.  Blake Gand, Jerod Pellman, Max Rhodes and Jake Lance each doubled in the victory.  Max Rhodes led the Logger hitters going 3-for-3 with 2 RBI.  Ryan Aper and Jerod Pellman went 2-for-4 while Carter Pranger was 2-for-3.
 
Winning pitcher for the Loggers was starter Derringer Huff (3-4 record).  Huff threw 5 innings of shutout pitching allowing just 4 hits and striking out 6 Spoon River hitters.  Nick Lampen pitched the last inning in relief and doing his part to hold on to the shutout.

The Loggers are now 26-10 and 13-3 in the MWAC.
