LLCC and Lewis & Clark played pretty even until the Loggers scored 1 run in the 8
th inning on a fielding error by the Trailblazer’s third baseman. The Loggers who were the visiting team held Lewis & Clark in the bottom of the inning to win 6-5 in game one.
Brandon Weller led the Loggers in hitting, going 4-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI. Ryan Aper went 2-for-4 with double and 2 stolen bases. Dan Reiser picked up the win, going 2.1 innings, holding the Trailblazers to no runs and only 1 hit.
Game 2, same as the first, Loggers win in 8 innings 6-5. Second baseman, Brandon Weller again had a hot bat. Weller went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Jake Gand and Jake Lance both went 2-for-4 at the plate. Dan Reiser again won game 2 in relief, going 1.1 innings. Reiser is now 4-0 for the year.
LLCC baseball is 17-8 on the season and 7-1 in the MWAC.
