Lincoln Land Community College beat DuPage College Chaparrals 2-1 and 8-7.   The Loggers scored one run in the first and second innings and that was good enough for the win in game one.  Kyle Culli (2-1) went the distance allowing only 1 run on 2 hits, 2 walks and 3 strike outs.  The Loggers managed four key hits and had no players with multiple hits.  Jerod Pellman had a double in the 1^st inning for the only extra base hit.

The DuPage Chaparrals out hit the Loggers in game two, 11 hits to 9.  Ryan Aper went 3-for-4 with a 2 RBI homer in the 5^th inning.  Jake Ingold and Jake Lance each added 2 hits, including a double.  Jerod Pellman also had a double in the game.  Logan Faber and Reed Willenborg combined for 6 innings before closer Dan Reiser (1-0) picked up the win in the 7^th inning.
