th to beat the Loggers 8-2 in their first game at the Babe Howard Classic in Memphis, TN. The Loggers scored 2 runs on just 2 hits. Derringer Huff (0-2) picked up the loss for the Loggers going 4 innings before being relieved by Blake Welch. Ryan Aper was 2-for-4, scoring one run and 1 RBI.
Game 2 on the day ended much better as the Loggers defeated Lackawanna 9-3. LLCC Loggers out hit Lackawanna 14-6, to collect their first win of the season. Ryan Aper was 3-for-5 with 2 RBIs. Max Rhodes also collected 3 hits and 1 RBI. Jake Lance, Jarod Pellman and Corey Fanning each added 2 hits for the Loggers. Kyle Culli (1-1) got the win, going 5 innings and allowing 3 runs (1 earned run). Dan Reiser pitched 4 innings and picked up the save.
