Lincoln Land played their home opener tonight against Hannibal LaGrange JV. The Loggers started the game slow and found themselves down 11-13 with 13:04 in the first half. The Loggers called time out and promptly went on a 29-6 run to end the first half. The second half continued right where the first half left of as the Loggers outscored Hannibal-LaGrange 42-10 in the second half.
The Loggers were led by Marcus Graham who scored 27 points on 12 of 15 shooting. Cory Evak chipped in 16pts and 10 rebounds. The Loggers were 9 of 17 from the three point line. "Any time you shoot well, you look good. The defense was solid and we got the win," said Coach Jones.
The Loggers travel to Daley College for a non-conference road match up Tuesday night.
