Illinois Central College took three straight from the Loggers tonight in East Peoria (21-25, 20-25, 23-25). Taylor Harper led the Loggers with 32 assists along with 26 digs from Lindsay Hathcoat. Samantha Voils and Kinzie Neilson posted 8 kills each.
Coach Jim Dietz said it all after the disappointing loss, "ICC won tonight because we made some unforced errors. We weren't as sharp as we were last week, and I think that was my fault because of our practice yesterday. We got a good match from Sammie Voils hitting and Taylor Harper continued her record-setting pace for assists, but we know now what level we need to be at when the post season rolls around in just a few weeks. Now we have to regroup and prepare because we play #12 Butler Friday afternoon to start our tourney."
The Loggers are now 20-3 on the season. LLCC will play this Friday against #12 Butler at 4 pm.
