LLCC swept the Blue Storm of Southwestern Illinois 3-0 with a 25-14, 25-13, 25-14 victory at Cass Gymnasium on Thursday running the Logger record to 19-5.
 
LLCC never trailed in the match, running to a 6-0 lead in game one, 5-0 in game two and 9-3 in game three anchored by the defense of Emily Orrick and the spark of Kinzie Neilson who led the team with six kills (hitting .667) and aggressive serving that led to multiple unforced errors.  "We came out and played hard from the start tonight.  We've been letting up at the start of games and I emphasized that before the match--I was glad we came out and executed well as a team.  The victory tonight was a great team effort," said Coach Dietz.
