Godfrey, IL – Baseball team takes two on the road at Lewis & Clark.  The Loggers won the double-header 7-1 and 8-0.  Ryan Aper, Mike Fitzgerald, Jake Ingold and Jake Lance had doubles in the opener.  Ryan Aper hit two triples as well.  Aper was 4-for-4, Ingold 2-for-4 and Lance went 2-for-4. 

Winning pitcher was Dan Reiser, now 6-1 on the season.  Reiser went 7 innings giving up just 4 hits and striking out 4 Lewis & Clark hitters.

In game two, the Loggers were led by Jarod Pellman, Jake Lance, and Seth Hale who all collected two hits off of L&C losing pitcher Ty Grotendent (2-8).

Clint Sestak was the winning pitcher for LLCC.  Sestak went the distance and is now 7-1 on the season.  The Loggers won three of the four games in the series with Lewis & Clark.  LLCC has now won three straight.

Lincoln Land Community College baseball team is now 37-17 on the season and 19-13 in the MWAC.
