Danville - Danville Area Community College out hit Lincoln Land 11-9 in the first game played at Danville Stadium (MWAC game) to defeat the Loggers 15-7.   Leading hitters for LLCC were Ryan Aper who went 2-for-4 at the plate with a solo homerun in the third inning, and Jake Ingold and Jerod Pellmam each going 2-for-3.  Winning pitcher for DACC was Ryan Blinn and losing pitcher for LLCC was Jordan Pesko.
 
The Loggers came back in the second game to defeat the Jaguars by the score of 17 – 8. Ryan Aper, now 3-0 on the season, picked up the win for LLCC.  Ryan pitched 5 innings giving up 5 runs, and striking out 5 DACC hitters.   Ryan Aper, Blake Gand, Jake Ingold, Jerrod Pellman, Chad Frerichs, and Brandon Weller collected 3 hits each in the game.    Jake Lance added a pair of hits as well.  Freichs homered in the first and fourth to collect a total of 6 RBIs.  Aper and Ingold both homered in the second game.  LLCC out hit DACC 22-11.
 
The Logger baseball team overall record is now 19-10 and 6-6 in the Mid-West Athletic Conference.
