The Lady Loggers traveled to Boonesville, MS to open their 2012 season (February 24-25, 2012).   The Loggers went 1-4 in the Tiger Fest at Northeast Mississippi Community College.  Game one drew the host school NEMCC where the Loggers had their only win in the season opener 4-3.  Brittney Reecer picked up the win in relief of Kayti Lundin.  Makenzie Carter, Brittany Hembrough and Sami Estill each collected 2 hits in this game. 

The Loggers then lost four straight to MS Gulf Coast, Three Rivers, SW Tennessee and Itawamba. 
The Loggers were outscored 45-14 in their first weekend of play.  Lincoln Land batted .286 for the Tiger Fest.  Brittney Hembrough, Marissa Jenkins and Katy Bettis hit .400 or better during the weekend.
