Coach Al Yoho joins Lincoln Land softball team for his first collegiate coaching position of his career. Coach Yoho AKA Coach Yo has an impressive career at the high school level. Coach Yo was the assistant coach at Sacred Heart Griffin High School for eight years. As an assistant coach for SHG the team won 230 games, four Regional titles, and a sectional title. Coach Yo took over as head coach for the next 12 years at Sacred Heart Griffin. The team won 320 games, seven regional titles, two sectional titles, two super sectional titles, and two top four finishes at the IHSA State Championships. Coach Yo gives so much of his credit to his great SHG assistant coaches Dave Copie and Nikki Best.
