Laura Payne is entering her second season at LLCC after completing her playing career and degree at McKendree University.  Payue is a Logger alum, having played for LLCC in 2009 and 2010 as an all-conference libero. Payne manages the team's conditioning and recruiting system, in addition to game-day responsibilities with the Logger defense. 
           
In addition to coaching at LLCC, Payne coaches the 16s travel team for Capital Area Volleyball, manages the Capital Area League, and works numerous camps while also providing private lessons for young athletes.   Previously, she served as a head coach for two seasons for club teams in the Springfield area.
