Lincoln Land Community College Athletics

Sophia is a 2024 graduate of Pleasant Plains High School. During high school, she participated in swimming, cross country, basketball, and soccer. In her sophomore year, Sophia was named Second Team Sangamon All-Conference and was part of the Illinois Regional Championship team. During her junior year, she earned First Team Sangamon All-Conference honors, and her soccer team won the Illinois Regional Class 1A, Illinois Sectional Class 1A, and Illinois Super-Sectional Class 1A Championships. They also placed 3rd in the Illinois Class 1A Women’s Soccer State Tournament. In her senior year, Sophia served as captain of the Pleasant Plains High School Soccer Team, which won the Illinois Regional Class 2A Championship. As a freshman at Lincoln Land, Sophia made the Region 2024 All-Region XXIV Team. She also received Academic All-Conference honors and was 2^nd Team Academic All-American. Sophia played club soccer for the SASA Spirits and is currently majoring in Integrated Media Design. She is the daughter of Lori Lindsey-Smith and Eric Smith.
