Lincoln Land Community College Athletics

Karsyn is a 2025 graduate of Athens High School. During high school, she participated in volleyball, track, basketball, and soccer, earning a total of 10 varsity letters. In her freshman year, Karsyn was named Sangamon County Honorable Mention and made the Tomahawk County Second Team in volleyball. In soccer, she earned spots on the Sangamon County and Tomahawk County Second Teams. During her sophomore year, Karsyn was named to the Sangamon County and Tomahawk County First Team All-Conference in volleyball. In soccer, she was named to the Tomahawk County First Team and set two records: the all-time scoring record and the single-season scoring record in Athens High School soccer history. She was also nominated for the Channel 1450 Area Soccer Player of the Year. In her junior year, Karsyn earned First Team All-Conference honors for both Sangamon County and Tomahawk County in volleyball. In soccer, she continued her record-breaking performance by setting the all-time assist record and the single-season assist record in Athens history. She was named to the Honorable Mention All-State team and was nominated for Channel 1450 Area Girls’ Soccer Player of the Year. During her senior year, Karsyn was named First Team All-Conference in volleyball for both Sangamon County and Tomahawk County. In soccer, she earned First Team honors for both Sangamon County and Tomahawk County and became the first player in Athens High School history to score 100 goals. In track, Karsyn placed seventh in the 4x2 relay during indoor season and qualified for the 4x1 and 4x2 relays in outdoor track.
Academically, Karsyn made the Academic All-Conference Team for Sangamon County. Karsyn played club soccer for the SASA Spirits and club volleyball for the Shock. She is currently pursuing a degree in biology. Karsyn is the daughter of Darren and Joellyn Jacoby.
