Ray Bishop joined the Logger’s Women's Soccer program in the Fall of 2022 as the assistant coach. Bishop has spent most of the last 20 years coaching. He has coached both boys and girls teams of all ages in area recreational leagues and at the Springfield Area Soccer Association. He also served as the Assistant Coach at Lanphier High School from 2003 to 2006.
Bishop is a 1996 Graduate of Lanphier High School where he was a 4-year starter, team captain, and all-conference selection. He went on to play at Southwest Illinois College, Lincoln Land Community College, and Robert Morris College. He is also a former Springfield Area Soccer Association Player.
Ray lives in Sherman with his wife Stacey and their two children Brendon and Madison.
