Whitley is a 2012 graduate of Meridian High School. She was a four year softball letter winner and holds the home run record at Meridian. Softball honors she received during her high school career were the Rookie of the Year Award (freshman), Spirit Award (freshman), Hawk Hustle Award (sophomore) and MVP (junior). She was named to the Macon All-County second team. Whitley earned Academic All-Conference honors her freshman year in college. She plans to transfer to a four-year school, finish her degree in Special Education with a minor in Behavioral Science. Her favorite sports teams are the Chicago Bears, Indiana Hoosiers and the USA gymnastics and softball teams.
