Torey graduated from Williamsville High School in 2012. Her senior year, she was selected for the All-State Softball team (first team) and the Sangamo All-Conference Softball team (first team). She contributed to her team finishing second in the State, Class 2A. MaxPreps.com rated her as one of the Top 30 National All-American Softball Players in 2012. Torey was a “Super 60” selection for the 2012 season. Torey was selected to the 2013 MWAC All-Conference – first team her freshman year in college.

She plans to continue her education at Colorado State or the University of Colorado and become a veterinarian or environmental scientist. Her favorite sports teams are the New England Patriots, the Chicago Bears, the New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs.
