Sadie is a 2013 graduate of Riverdale High School.  She broke the all-time school record for doubles in a season (12) with a total of 36 during her career.  She holds the all-time school pitching record for strikeouts in a year with 191 and in a career with 305.  During her high school career, Sadie was named the Best Defensive Player (sophomore year), Best Offensive Player (junior year) and Best Offensive Player & Most Valuable Player (senior year).  Sadie received the Sportsmanship Award her junior year and was chosen team captain as a senior.  She was selected for the Three Rivers Athletic All-Conference team all four years (senior - first team, pitcher - unanimous vote; junior - first team, infielder; sophomore - second team, infielder; freshman - honorable mention).  She was named the 2013 Three Rivers Athletic Conference Player of the Year.  Sadie was a member of the Academic All-Conference team all four years.  Her summer travel team won the USSSA State Tournament in 2009 and she was named to the USSSA All-State Tournament team.  In 2010, she was a member of the team that finished third at the NSA National Tournament.  Her freshman year at Lincoln Land as a starting pitcher included 4 wins, 64 strikeouts and a 3.5 earned run average.  She batted .446 and her .544 on base percentage ranked highest on the team.  Sadie plans to continue her Physical Therapy education and softball career at a four-year university.  Her favorite sports teams are the St. Louis Cardinals and the University of Alabama Softball Team.
