Maggie is a 2015 graduate of Meridian High School.  She was named the 2014-2015 Decatur ESPN Female Athlete of the Year.  She was a member of the All-State Softball team her sophomore and senior years.  She was selected for the All-County Softball team as a sophomore, junior and senior, as well as All-Conference teams all four years of her high school career.  Maggie earned several softball awards:  Rookie of the Year (freshman), Highest Batting Average, Heart of Hawk (junior), Hawk Hustle (junior, senior) and Most RBI’s (sophomore, senior).  She also played high school basketball and volleyball, earning recognition on county, conference and state teams for both sports.  Her freshman year at LLCC, Maggie earned Academic All-Conference and Academic All-American honors.  Maggie’s goal is to earn a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and continue her softball career.  She hopes to marry an MLB/NBA player and breed tall athletes.  The athlete she admires is Yadier Molina.  She is a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
