Katelyn is a 2016 graduate of Alton High School.  She received numerous awards during her high school career - Best Base Runner (sophomore, junior), Defensive Player of the Year (sophomore, junior) and Scholar Athlete (junior, senior).  She was named Athlete of the Week in May 2015.  She was chosen 2^nd team All-Conference her junior and senior years and received Academic All-Conference honors both years, as well.  Her travel team finished 3^rd in 2014 and 7^th in 2015 at the Northern ASA National Tournament.  After LLCC, Katelyn plans to earn a nursing degree and play softball.  She would like to coach her own softball team at some point.  The athlete she admires is Aly Raisman.  Her favorite sports teams are the St. Louis Cardinals, the St. Louis Blues and the USA Gymnastics team.
