Claire is a 2012 graduate of Olympia High School. She was a unanimous selection for the All-Cornbelt Conference first team as an infielder in 2011 and second team infielder in 2012. She was named to the All-State second team as an infielder (2011 & 2012). Her team won the Class 2A State Softball Championship in 2009. The team also finished in the Elite 8 (2010 & 2011) and the Sweet 16 (2012) in Class 2A. She was selected to the All-Corn Belt Conference 1^st team in 2011 and 2^nd team in 2012. Claire was selected to 2013 Region XXIV All-Region team her freshman year in college.

Claire plans to attend the University of Illinois or Illinois State and major in Agribusiness with a minor in crop science. She hopes to work close to home and someday coach softball at Olympia High School. Her favorite sports teams are the St. Louis Cardinals, the Miami Dolphins and the LLCC Softball team.
