Brittany is a 2016 Alton High School graduate. She was a four-year softball letterman and member of the National Honor Society. Excelling in the classroom and on the field, Brittany earned Southwestern Conference Academic All-Conference and All-Conference honors her sophomore, junior and senior years. In 2016, she was chosen for the State of Illinois All-State team and named the Alton Advantage News Player of the Year. She started her senior season 8-0 and was named (one of) the St. Louis Post Dispatch Players of the Week in April. Brittany was recognized as an Alton Athletic Association Student Athlete of the month. She finished the season 22-7 with a 1.39 ERA and 213 strikeouts. Brittany cemented her place in the Alton High records book with the second most strike outs (213) in a season and the second most (529) all time. Brittany was voted as the team MVP her junior and senior years. Her summer travel team (Black Widows) won two state tournaments and Brittany was chosen to play in the Missouri-Illinois ASA All-Star game. After two years as a Logger, she plans to transfer to a four-year university to earn a bachelor’s degree and continue her softball-pitching career. Brittany is a St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan.
