Ashton is a 2016 graduate of Sacred Heart-Griffin High School where she lettered in softball and tennis.  She was a member of the Central State Eight (CS8) All-Conference Softball teams all four years of her high school career.  Her team was the first softball team in school history to advance to the State Tournament with back-to-back appearances – bringing home a 4^th place and 3^rd place finish.  She was named to the All-State Softball team (2^nd team and 3rd team).   She was a member of the Hitting Center 97 team that won the WCN USSSA National Tournament.  Her goal is to continue her education after LLCC and earn her BSN while playing softball at the next level.  The athletes that she admires are Jennie Finch and Simone Biles.  She is a Mizzou Football fan.
