Lincoln Land Community College Athletics

Stephen is a 2024 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He was a member of the basketball, soccer, football, track, and cross-country teams. In his junior and senior years, he made the Illini Prairie All-Conference 1st Team for soccer as a goalie. During his junior year in basketball, he earned Honorable Mention on the Illini Prairie All-Conference team. He was also named the Sangamon Shootout Player of the Game and led the team in rebounds, free throw percentage, steals, three-point percentage, and points per game. During Stephen’s senior year, he was named 1st Team All-Sectional for goalie, Peoria Area All-Star, and was invited to the Body Armor Showcase. In basketball, he made 2nd Team All-Conference and was a Kiwanis All-Star Game Player, as well as an IPC vs. HOI All-Star Game Player. He again led the team in free throw percentage, steals, and points per game. Academically, he was an honor roll student and the Illini Prairie Conference Scholar Athlete. He played his club ball for AAU, Arch Angels, and Trap Club. Stephen plans to major in communications, wants to transfer to a Division 1 school, and hopes to get drafted into the NBA. He is the son of Lee and Sarah Braun.
