Coach Zachary Zahnle begins his second year as head coach at LLCC and third year coaching Loggers esports. In his prior seasons he coached the Rocket League team to a 9th place finish in the NJCAAe and an NECC championship, as well as having Smash players place 4th and 5th in the NJCAAe. Zachary was born and raised in Macomb, Illinois where he began his work in esports with the Macomb Esports Association, and got his start in coaching with 9-Ball Esports. As a competitor he played in an array of amateur competition both in Super Smash Bros. and Rainbow Six: Siege and now commentates for amateur and collegiate leagues such as NECC and the Solar Flare Competitive League as well as leading the NECC events team and continuing to administrate tournaments. "I'm very thankful to have the ability to continue building on the growth this program has made in the last year, and beyond excited to be leading these students in growing as competitors and people. Working with Coach DeWitt was a pleasure and I look to continue the trajectory he's set for the esports team in the coming years."
