Rachel graduated from Maroa-Forsyth High School in 2013.  She holds the all-time record for RBI’s (137), home runs in a career (18) and the second spot for season RBI’s (43).  She had no defensive errors during her junior and senior softball seasons.  Her junior year batting average was .532. She was selected for the All-State Softball team (second team - sophomore & junior; third team - senior).  Rachel was named to the Okaw All-Conference team all four years (first team - junior & sophomore; second team - senior; honorable mention - freshman).  She was a member of the All-County first team (four years) and was an ESPN Radio Area Softball finalist her junior year.  As a freshman at Lincoln Land, she played in 63 of the 68 games during the 2014 spring season.  She was the starting first baseman with a fielding percentage of .992 (8^th in the nation) and batted .355 with 7 home runs and 51 RBI’s.  Rachel’s goal is to continue to play softball after LLCC, earn a degree in Occupational Therapy and become an Occupational Therapist in a nursing home or hospital working with the elderly.  Her favorite sports teams are the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Bears.
