LLCC vs. Rend Lake College
               The Loggers started off on a high note at their home tournament with a sweep against Rend Lake College: 25-16, 25-16, 26-24. The Loggers offense hit a .282 collectively.  Leading in kills for the Loggers were outside hitters Izzy Link and Kylee McDonald with 11 kills each. Sophomore middle blocker Gracie Brockett and freshman rightside hitter Avery Ginglen were forces on offense as well, earning 8 kills apiece. Savannah Kaeb also contributed 5 kills to the Loggers offense. McDonald hit an impressive .400 on the match, while Avery Ginglen hit an outstanding .357. 
Freshman setters did a phenomenal job at spreading the offense this match. Brinlie Durbin earned 18 assists and Bella Winfield-Russo was not far behind with 17. Libero, Izzy Lynch, secured 7 assists on out of system plays. The Loggers were a force from the service line as well with Izzy Link acing the Lakers 4 times. Maryn Linderman and Brooklyn Lynch each got 2 aces, and Bella Winfield-Russo had 1. 
Sophomore middle blocker, Savannah Kaeb locked in 1 solo block and 1 block assist. Gracie Brockett shut the Lakers down with 1 solo block and Avery Ginglen had a block assist. Sophomore libero, Izzy Lynch was all over the court, earning the Loggers defense 19 digs in just 3 sets.  Brooklyn Lynch, freshman defensive specialist (DS), picked up 7 digs, Bella Winfield-Russo had 6, Maryn Linderman with 5, and Izzy Link picked up 4 digs. 
 
LLCC vs. Triton College
               The Loggers ended day 1 of the Lincoln Land Invitational with another sweep against Triton College: 25-20, 25-11, 25-16. The Loggers offense put the pressure on the Trojans by hitting a .267. Sophomore outside hitter Izzy Link was on fire earning 17 kills, only 4 errors on 34 attempts, hitting an incredible .382. Kylee McDonald earned 7 kills for the Loggers and Gracie Brockett contributed 4. Avery Ginglen, Savannah Kaeb, and Brinlie Durbin each had 3 kills. Freshman rightside Hadleigh Maley put away 2 balls, and Maryn Linderman earned a kill to complete the Loggers offense. Brinlie Durbin earned another 18 assists on the second match of the day, and Bella Winfield-Russo put up 13 assists. Brooklyn Lynch earned 2 aces against the Trojans while Bella Winfield-Russo, Maryn Linderman, and Izzy Link each had 1 ace. 
               Izzy Lynch, sophomore libero, was on fire in the back court again, picking up 18 total digs in only 3 sets. Maryn Linderman protected the back line with ease, earning 9 digs for the Loggers defense. Brooklyn Lynch and Bella Winfield-Russo each had 6 digs, Izzy Link with 4, and Harper Darr with 2. Brinlie Durbin stepped up on the block, earning 3 block assists and 1 solo block. Gracie Brockett had 2 block assists and 1 solo block. Savannah Kaeb had 2 block assists and Izzy Link had 1 block assist.
