The Loggers battled hard against the Parkland Cobras in a thrilling five-set match (26-24, 26-24, 14-25, 20-25, 12-15), becoming the first team this season to take a set from the Cobras. Izzy Link stepped up for the Loggers, earning herself a double-double with 12 kills and 21 digs. Savannah Kaeb followed closely behind with 10 kills, Kylee McDonald had 9, Avery Ginglen with 5, and Gracie Brockett earned 4 kills. Freshman setter, Brinlie Durbin put up 17 assists for the Loggers, while Bella Winfield-Russo had 14. Libero, Izzy Lynch, also earned 5 assists for the Loggers in out of system balls. Gracie Brockett put pressure on the Cobras from the service line with 4 aces, and Maryn Linderman and Izzy Link each contributed 3 aces. 

    The Loggers played a scrappy defense against the Cobras earning 73 digs collectively. Izzy Link led the Loggers in digs with 21, and Izzy Lynch followed right behind her with 17. Freshman, Brooklyn Lynch, picked up 7 digs for the Loggers, while Kylee McDonald and Maryn Linderman each contributed 6 digs. Gracie Brockett was not only a force from the service line, but also at the net with 5 solo blocks and 3 block assists. Savannah Kaeb earned 2 solo blocks, and Izzy Link earned 2 block assists. The Loggers are off this weekend and will travel to Godfrey, IL to play Lewis & Clark Community College next Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
