Loggers Lose Both Games to Danville on Stand Up to Cancer Games

Loggers Cannot Hold Onto Lead Versus The Jaguars

April 11, 2026 vs. Jaguars

Despite leading by as many as eight runs, the Loggers fell to Jaguars 10-9 on Saturday. The Loggers was right in it until Jaguars hit a home run to center field in the ninth inning.
Loggers got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Lennington singled to center field, and Bowles grounded out, each scoring one run.
The Loggers added one run in the third. Moffatt hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 3-0.

Jaguars scored five runs on two hits in the top of the seventh inning. Feuerborn singled, scoring one run, Waller drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored three runs.
Gregg earned the win for Jaguars. The righty allowed five hits and two runs (one earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking four. Wajda took the loss for the Loggers. The hurler went one and two-thirds innings, giving up three runs on three hits, striking out three and walking one. Goss stepped on the hill first for the Loggers. The right-handed pitcher surrendered five hits and five runs (one earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one. Rodriguez opened the game for Jaguars. The pitcher gave up four hits and seven runs (four earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out four and walking seven.

Loggers amassed nine hits in the game. Lennington led Loggers with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The catcher went 3-for-5 on the day. Cox collected two hits for Loggers in five at bats. Moffatt led Loggers with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up 11 walks for the game. Loggers 2026 ran wild on the base paths, accumulating four stolen bases for the game.

Jaguars amassed 11 hits in the game. Feuerborn and Coleman were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Jaguars. Wichtowskiwent 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Durbin collected two hits for Jaguars in five at bats.
 

Bats Stymied For Both Teams As the Loggers Loses To the Jaguars

Both teams were strong on the mound on Saturday, but Jaguars was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 3-2 victory over the Loggers. Wheeler started the game for the Loggers and recorded 18 outs.

The Loggers was right in it until Jaguars singled in the seventh inning. The Jaguars got on the board in the first inning after Wichtowski homered to left field, scoring two runs.
Bowles singled down the right field line, which helped Loggers 2026 tie the game at two in the bottom of the fifth.
Gudnason earned the win for Jaguars. The southpaw allowed zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking two. Winkeler took the loss for the Loggers. The right-handed pitcher went one inning, giving up one run on one hit, striking out one and walking one. Wheeler started on the mound for Loggers 2026. The hurler allowed four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out four and walking two. Raikes stepped on the bump first for Jaguars. The starter surrendered two hits and one run over four innings, striking out five and walking three. Ogden earned the save.

Bowles provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the Loggers with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Bowles, Turner, Marshall, and Moffatt each collected one hit for the Loggers. The Loggers didn't commit a single error in the field. Geis had the most chances in the field with six.

Wichtowski drove the middle of the lineup, leading Jaguars with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-4 on the day. Durbin, Riggs, Russell, Wichtowski, and Coleman each collected one hit for Jaguars. Jaguars didn't commit a single error in the field. Coleman had the most chances in the field with eight.

The Loggers will travel to Jaguars for their next game on Sunday.
