February 26, 2026 vs. Kankakee Community College

The Loggers had trouble keeping up with Kankakee Community College in a 9-3 loss on Thursday at Normal, IL.
Kankakee Community College got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Vogt singled down the left field line, and Fabisiak hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
A home run to left field by Cox gave the Loggers the lead, 3-2, in the top of the third.

Kankakee Community College captured the lead, 5-3, in the bottom of the fourth when an error scored one run, and Fabisiak singled, scoring two runs.
Catalano earned the win for Kankakee Community College. The righty gave up four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking two. Winkeler took the loss for the Loggers. The right-handed pitcher went three innings, allowing five runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out five and walking two.

Cox went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Swaney led the Loggers with two hits in three at bats.

Kankakee Community College tallied 10 hits in the game. Hirst led Kankakee Community College with three hits in four at bats. Fabisiak and Hirst each drove in three runs for Kankakee Community College. Vogt and Vandermeer each collected multiple hits for Kankakee Community College. Kankakee Community College didn't commit a single error in the field. Gaitens had the most chances in the field with 11.
