The Lincoln Land men's basketball team fell to 6-8 on the season after stumbling against the Cougars of Illinois Central College 92-84. 

Lincoln Land got the first two baskets of the game and held a lead at 13-12, but ICC responded with a 10-1 and the Loggers played from behind for much of the day. The Cougars got up to a 29-19 lead and the Loggers began to climb back into the contest with a 12-2 run to tie the game at 31. Over the last 3:00 of the half, ICC would take the lead and then the Loggers would tie it back up. ICC held a small 36-34 lead into the break. 

The second half Lincoln Land got back within 1 point, but no further. ICC was able to push their advantage back to 10 and held off every small run the Loggers could put together. LLCC fought back to within 3 at 62-59, but again ICC was able to rattle off a run of 6-0 to push back their advantage. 10 points later, Lincoln Land once again fought their way back to get with 72-69. But the decisive blow came on a 7-0 run by ICC to put the game finally out of reach. The Cougars knocked in enough free throws to keep their lead and lead by a game high 12 towards the conclusion of the game. ICC held on for the 92-84 win. 

Nate Moore led the game with 27 points, impressively going a perfect 9-9 from the field and a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line, not missing a shot. This is the third time this year Moore has scored 27 or more points. Keshaun Harlan ended with 20 points, the second time he has hit the 20-point threshold this year. Josh Banks ended with 12 to the be third Logger to reach double digits. 

Lincoln Land falls to 6-8 on the season and 3-4 in conference play. Lincoln Land takes on Illinois Wesleyan's JV Monday evening in Cass Gymnasium to try to get back to winning ways.
