The Loggers defeated the Rend Lake Warriors in 4 sets: 25-18, 25-22, 25-27, 25-20. Morgan Cowdrey led the Loggers in kills with 16, Kailyn Jefferson followed right behind with 13, Ella Kinkelaar and Gracie Brockett each had 11 kills, Haper Darr contributed 7, and Savannah Kaeb had 5 kills. Kinkelaar chalked up a total of 43 assists, while Izzy Lynch had 6 and Morgan Cowdrey had 5. Morgan Cowdrey also was on fire at the serving line with a total of 5 aces, Izzy Lynch had 3, Gracie Brockett had 2 aces, and Harper Darr and Kaylee Abens each contributed 1 ace. Izzy Lynch defended the back court with an impressive 28 digs, Harper Darr had 18, Kaylee Abens contributed 14 digs, Ella Kinkelaar and Gracie Brockett each had 5 digs. Gracie Brockett earned 2 solo blocks and 2 block assists, while Savannah Kaeb had 2 block assists. Morgan Cowdrey earned a solo block, and Kailyn Jefferson and Ella Kinkelaar each contributed 1 block assist.
The Loggers ended the first day of their home tournament with another win against Fort Scott 25-19, 25-14, 17-25, 25-11. Savannah Kaeb led the Loggers in kills with 9, Morgan Cowdrey and Gracie Brockett each contributed 8 kills, Kailyn Jefferson had 7, Laynee Whitsitt with 4, and both Harper Darr and Ella Kinkelaar earned 3 points each. Ella Kinkelaar earned 38 assists for the Loggers. Izzy Lynch and Ella Kinkelaar had 3 service aces, while Morgan Cowdrey and Harper Darr each had 2. Kaylee Abens led the Loggers defense in digs with 16, Kinkelaar earned another double-double with 12 digs (and her 38 assists), Morgan Cowdrey and Izzy Lynch each picked up 11 digs for the Loggers, and Liv Havera had 3 digs. Savannah Kaeb was a force at the net, earning 4 solo blocks and 1 block assist. Grace Brockett earned 2 solo blocks and 2 block assists.
