The Loggers had a slow start to their season, losing both of their matches. The Loggers lost to Muskegon Community College 23-25, 17-25, and 20-25, and to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College 12-25, 25-20, 20-25, 13-25.

Sophomore Ella Kinkelaar led the Loggers in assists today with 35; while libero Kaylee Abens, added 5. Harper Darr led in kills with 11, Izzy Link followed right behind with 10, Kailyn Jefferson with 9 kills, and Gracie Brockett with 8. Izzy Link earned herself 9 aces, Izzy Lynch and Morgan Cowdrey each pitched in 3 aces.

Sophomore Kaylee Abens led in digs with 20, Izzy Link contributed 18 digs, Izzy Lynch and Ella Kinkelaar each had 12. Freshman Gracie Brockett also had 3 solo blocks.

The Loggers take on Monroe Community College and Harper College tomorrow for their final matches of Opening Weekend Tournament.
