Game 1 - Lincoln Land Loggers Come Back To Defeat Lewis & Clark CC

Lincoln Land Loggers rallied to defeat Lewis & Clark CC 15-9 on Saturday. Lincoln Land Loggers trailed by as many as four runs during the game. Lewis & Clark CC jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Jasmine Turner doubled, scoring two runs, Kaydence Harlan singled, scoring one run, and Alissa Sauls singled, scoring one run.
Lincoln Land Loggers flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring seven runs on seven hits to take the lead, 7-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Ryleigh Davidson that drove in two. Lewis & Clark CC jumped into the lead in the top of the second when Brooke Donohue doubled, scoring one run, Jasmine Turner doubled, scoring two runs, and Alissa Sauls singled, scoring one run.
Lincoln Land Loggers captured the lead, 10-8, in the bottom of the second after Brooke Boden grounded out, Camryn Patterson singled to center field, and Maddie Adams singled to left field, each scoring one run. Lincoln Land Loggers scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Emmy Renfro tripled, scoring two runs, Abby Hendricks hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Abby Mcdonald doubled, scoring two runs.
Maia Lorengo earned the win for Lincoln Land Loggers. The hurler gave up three hits and one run over four innings, striking out four and walking two. Taylor Stelbrink took the loss for Lewis & Clark CC. The starting pitcher went two innings, surrendering 10 runs (nine earned) on 10 hits, striking out none and walking three. Brooke Boden started in the circle for Lincoln Land Loggers. The pitcher gave up seven hits and eight runs (six earned) over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking one. Faith Nestler threw one inning of zero-run ball for Lincoln Land Loggers in relief. The pitcher allowed zero hits, striking out one and walking none.

Game 2 - Lincoln Land Loggers Come Up Short Against Parkland College

Lincoln Land Loggers lost to Parkland College 7-2 on Saturday. Parkland College opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two sacrifice flies. Parkland College first got on the board when Nicole Sinks hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Lincoln Land Loggers tied the game in the top of the fourth thanks to a single by Shelby Finchum, and a fielder's choice by Camryn Patterson. Parkland College took the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Maddie Gourley singled to center field, and Jordyn Turner singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
Mya Brown earned the win for Parkland College. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out four and walking one. Faith Nestler took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers. The starter went six innings, surrendering seven runs (five earned) on 10 hits, striking out four and walking two.
Maia Lorengo, Emmy Renfro, Camryn Patterson, Brooke Boden, Brooke Goetter, Shelby Finchum, and Maddie Adams each collected one hit for Lincoln Land Loggers. Camryn Patterson went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Lincoln Land Loggers turned two double plays in the game.
Maddie Gourley and Jordyn Turner were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Parkland College while hitting back-to-back.
