Ryleigh Davidson drove in four runs on two hits to lead Lincoln Land Loggers past John Wood CC 9-1 on Tuesday at Quincy, IL. Ryleigh Davidson doubled in the first inning, scoring two runs, and hit a home run to center field in the fourth inning, scoring two. Lincoln Land Loggers were the first to get on the board in the first when Ryleigh Davidson doubled, scoring two runs. A single by Maddie Adams extended the Lincoln Land Loggers lead to 3-0 in the top of the second inning.
Lincoln Land Loggers scored three runs in the top of the third on a home run to center field by Abby Hendricks. Lincoln Land Loggers added three more runs in the top of the fourth inning on five hits. Shelby Finchum tripled, scoring one run, and Ryleigh Davidson homered to center field, scoring two runs.
Faith Nestler earned the win for Lincoln Land Loggers. The starter gave up three hits and one run over five innings, striking out six and walking one. Lincoln Land Loggers won thanks in part to nine runs in the fourth inning. Shelby Finchum tripled, scoring one run, Ryleigh Davidson doubled, scoring one run, Emmy Renfro doubled, scoring one run, Maia Lorengo doubled, scoring one run, Abby Hendricks doubled, scoring one run, Abby Jackson grounded out, scoring one run, Maddie Adams doubled, scoring one run, Ryleigh Davidson singled, scoring one run, and Emmy Renfro singled, scoring one run.
