Game 1 - Mugele Hits Multiple Home Runs To Lead Loggers Past Illinois College

Payten Mugele hit two home runs and drove in five as the Loggers defeated Illinois College 10-0 on Wednesday. Payten Mugele homered in the first and sixth innings. The Loggers won thanks in part to nine runs in the first inning. Andrew Hendrickson singled, scoring one run, Payten Mugele hit a grand slam to right field, Kaeden Bowles doubled, scoring two runs, Nolan Turner singled, scoring one run, and Andrew Hendrickson singled, scoring one run.

Game 2 - Loggers Impressive In Win Against Illinois College

The Loggers won big over Illinois College 13-4 on Wednesday. The Loggers got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Colbie Glenn walked, Kaeden Bowles hit a sacrifice fly, and Nolan Turner hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
The Loggers scored two runs in the bottom of the third on a home run to left field by Seth Impson. The Loggers added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning on four hits. Andrew Hendrickson singled, scoring one run, and Ethan Hurst homered to left field, scoring two runs.
The Loggers added five more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on two hits. Seth Impson hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Brooks Neuhoff hit a grand slam to left field.
Bryce Buhs earned the win for the Loggers. The pitcher gave up three hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out none and walking none. Jacob Smith took the loss for Illinois College. The pitcher went two innings, allowing three runs on one hit, striking out none and walking four. Max Powers, Luke Goss, Conrad Charpentier, and Garrick Winkeler each came on in relief for the Loggers and shutdown Illinois College.
