Loggers Split to Open Conference

Game 1 - Late Score Costs Loggers Against Lewis and Clark CC Blazers

Saturday's game against Lewis and Clark CC Blazers was a heartbreaker for Loggers, as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the seventh when Hayden Sherman singled, scoring one run. The Loggers were the first to get on the board in the first when Seth Winkler grounded out, scoring one run.

A single by Hayden Sherman gave Lewis and Clark CC Blazers the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the first. Colbie Glenn doubled down the left field line, which helped the Loggers tie the game at two in the top of the fourth.

A solo home run to left field by Shaun Ferguson gave Lewis and Clark CC Blazers the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the fourth. Seth Winkler doubled to center field, which helped the Loggers tie the game at three in the top of the seventh.

Rayce Giddens earned the win for Lewis and Clark CC Blazers. The pitcher allowed 10 hits and three runs over eight innings, striking out 10 and walking one. Bryce Buhs took the loss for the Loggers. The hurler went two innings, giving up one run on three hits, striking out three and walking none. Trey Carter stepped on the mound first for the Loggers. The starting pitcher allowed nine hits and three runs over six innings, striking out six and walking none. Adam Munie earned the save.

The Loggers amassed 10 hits in the game. Nolan Turner and Seth Winkler were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for the Loggers. Seth Winkler went 2-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. The Loggers were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Payten Mugele had the most chances in the field with eight.

Lewis and Clark CC Blazers tallied 12 hits in the game. Hayden Sherman provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Lewis and Clark CC Blazers with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Isaac Lemanski went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Lewis and Clark CC Blazers in hits. Game 2 - Loggers Captures Lead Late In Victory Over Lewis and Clark CC Blazers

The Loggers snatched the lead late in their 5-4 victory over Lewis and Clark CC Blazers on Saturday. The game was tied at four in the top of the tenth when Ryan Oswald singled, scoring one run. Lewis and Clark CC Blazers got on the board in the third inning after Isaac Lemanski singled, scoring one run. The Loggers took the lead in the top of the fifth. Seth Winkler homered to center field, scoring two runs, to give Loggers the leg up, 2-1.

Nick Muskopf homered to left field, which helped Lewis and Clark CC Blazers 2025 tie the game at two in the bottom of the fifth. A solo home run to left field by Alex Sckreckenberg gave Lewis and Clark CC Blazers the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth.

The Loggers took the lead in the top of the seventh inning after Seth Winkler doubled to center field, and Andrew Hendrickson singled to center field, each scoring one run. Isaac Lemanski singled to center field, which helped Lewis and Clark CC Blazers tie the game at four in the bottom of the seventh.

Garrick Winkeler earned the win for the Loggers. The reliever gave up three hits and one run over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Tyler Rosecrans took the loss for Lewis and Clark CC Blazers. The right-handed pitcher went four innings, giving up three runs on five hits, striking out three and walking none. Seth Impson began the game for the Loggers. The hurler surrendered seven hits and three runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking none. Jakob Koehn started on the mound for Lewis and Clark CC Blazers. The hurler allowed two hits and two runs over six innings, striking out five and walking three.

Seth Winkler led the Loggers with three runs batted in. The shortstop went 2-for-5 on the day. The Loggers were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Andrew Hendrickson had the most chances in the field with nine.
