Loggers Roll Past Parkland College with a 5-1 Victory, Remaining Undefeated

The Lincoln Land Loggers (8-0) continued their impressive unbeaten run with a 5-1 victory over Parkland College (0-6) on September 14, 2024.

Parkland Cobras struck first in the 11th minute, catching the Loggers off guard with an early goal. However, the Loggers quickly regrouped and took control of the game. Tetee Jallah scored the equalizer in the 36th minute, assisted by Adi Fraase, sending the game into halftime tied 1-1.

The second half was all Lincoln Land, as Kyndel Moore put the Loggers ahead in the 47th minute with an unassisted strike. Adi Fraase then extended the lead with a penalty kick in the 54th minute. Just one minute later, Tetee Jallah found the net again with an unassisted goal to make it 4-1. Kaleigh Meyer rounded out the scoring with another penalty kick in the 65th minute, sealing the 5-1 win.

The Loggers dominated the stats sheet, firing 13 shots in the first half (8 on goal) and 17 more in the second half (6 on goal), while earning 11 corner kicks across the game. The Loggers goalkeeper Abi Stephens recorded 2 saves on the day. 

Lincoln Land now turns their focus to their next match against East Central College on September 17th at 4 p.m. at home, as they aim to continue their perfect season.
