G1 - Danville
The Loggers lost to Danville Area Community College 6-4 on Saturday. Danville Area Community College got on the board in the second inning after Ali Grenzebach hit a solo home run to right field. A home run to left field by Bridgette Royer gave the Loggers the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the second. The Loggers added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Ryleigh Davidson homered to center field, and Emmy Renfro hit into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run.
Rylee Richey hit a solo home run to right field in the top of the fourth for the Danville Area Community College. Danville Area Community College made the score 6-4 in the top of the seventh after Gloria Richardson homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Grenzebach laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run. Richey earned the win for Danville Area Community College. They surrendered six hits and four runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking two. Bailey Teasley took the loss for the Loggers. They went six innings, allowing five runs on eight hits, striking out five and walking none.
Royer led the Loggers with two runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-3 on the day. The Loggers turned one double play in the game. Kaylee Kline, Pailei Cripe, and Kennedy Hudson each collected two hits for Danville Area Community College. Richardson led Danville Area Community College with three runs batted in. They went 1-for-4 on the day. Danville Area Community College were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Grenzebach had the most chances in the field with nine.

G2 - Danville
The Loggers were victorious against Danville Area Community College 7-5 on Saturday. Danville Area Community College got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kelsey Martlage singled, scoring two runs, and Alyssa Acton doubled, scoring one run. The Loggers took the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Sage Carr singled, Allie Dolenc doubled, Haley Willan grounded out, and Andee Brown singled, each scoring one run.
Danville Area Community College scored one run in the top of the sixth on a solo home run to left field by Gloria Richardson. Kaylee Yost earned the win for the Loggers. They gave up seven hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking seven. Alyvia Jackson took the loss for Danville Area Community College.
The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering six runs on 10 hits, striking out three and walking two. The Loggers amassed 12 hits in the game. Brown, Carr, and Ryleigh Davidson each collected two hits for the Loggers. Brown, Dolenc, and Carr each drove in two runs for the Loggers.
Martlage drove the middle of the lineup, leading Danville Area Community College with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-4 on the day. Rylee Richey and Acton each collected two hits for Danville Area Community College. Danville Area Community College had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating seven walks for the game. Danville Area Community College were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ali Grenzebach had the most chances in the field with seven.
The Loggers will travel to Lewis and Clark for their next game on Friday.
