G1 - Lewis & Clark
The Loggers won big over Lewis and Clark CC 15-6 on Friday at Springfield. Lewis and Clark CC got on the board in the top of the third inning after Jake Radosevich singled, The Loggers committed an error, and Mason McMurray hit into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run. The Loggers took the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Andrew Randazzo doubled, Nolan McMasters walked, Payton Mugele singled, Caleb Royer singled, and Hunter Moser singled, each scoring one run.
The Loggers scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. Grant Pohlman singled, scoring one run, Moser homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Ethan Hurst singled, scoring one run. Mitch Dye earned the win for the Loggers. He allowed nine hits and six runs (three earned) over five and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking four. Chase Newby took the loss for Lewis and Clark CC.
He went four innings, allowing seven runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out six and walking four. Will Leman tossed one and one-third innings of scoreless ball for the Loggers in relief. The reliever gave up one hit, striking out two and walking none.
The Loggers amassed 13 hits in the game. Moser, the number eight hitter for the Loggers, led the way with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Austin Adcock, Moser, Pohlman, Randazzo, and Hurst each collected two hits for the Loggers. Hurst paced the Loggers with two walks.
Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game. Randazzo and Hurst each stole multiple bases for the Loggers. The Loggers ran wild on the base paths, tallying seven stolen bases for the game. The Loggers turned one double play in the game.

G2 - Lewis & Clark
The Loggers were triumphant over Lewis and Clark CC 5-3 on Friday. The Loggers were the first to get on the board in the first when Ethan Hurst hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Lewis and Clark CC took the lead, 2-1, in the top of the second thanks to singles by Alex McNiven, and Kayden McGee.
The Loggers made the score 4-2 in the bottom of the second after Andrew Hendrickson hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, and Grant Pohlman singled, scoring one run. The Loggers added one run in the third. Andrew Randazzo walked, making the score 5-2.
Jack Wajda earned the win for the Loggers. He surrendered eight hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Jackson Parrill took the loss for Lewis and Clark CC. The starting pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, surrendering five runs on two hits, striking out two and walking seven.
Austin Adcock went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Loggers in hits. Pohlman, Randazzo, Hendrickson, and Hurst each drove in one run for the Loggers. Randazzo paced the Loggers with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Hunter Moser and Randazzo each stole multiple bases for the Loggers. The Loggers stole four bases in the game. The Loggers were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Evan Kochel had the most chances in the field with nine.
McNiven and McGee each collected two hits for Lewis and Clark CC. McGee led Lewis and Clark CC with two runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-4 on the day.
Loggers will travel to Lewis and Clark CC for their next game on Saturday.
