The Loggers lost a hard-fought battle against the #5 Heartland Hawks in 4 sets (17-25, 22-25, 25-16, 29-31). 
In the first two sets of the match the Loggers started their climb back in the tail end but fell just short of taking back each set. In the third set, Ella Kinkelaar went on a 9 point service run, leading the Hawks to two timeouts during her time at the service line. They kept the moment going to take set 3 from Heartland. The Loggers and the Hawks battled it out in the 4th set of the match. Lincoln Land took a 6 point lead at 10-4 and 16-10, but the Hawks inched back in, walking away with the win. 

Peyton Bergschneider led the Logger offense with 16 kills and also added 17 digs, earning a double-double on the night. Adi White was next in kills with 8, followed by Ella Kinkelaar and Autumn Stone with 7. Kinkelaar also earned herself a double-double with 22 assists and 12 digs. Hailee Daigh contributed 16 assists. Kaylee Abens had a huge night defensively, putting up 22 digs. Sophia Pence added 12 more as well. 

The Loggers will travel to Heartland Community College Friday and Saturday. Loggers are now 13-14 on the year.
