The Loggers traveled to Champaign Illinois for the Parkland Tourney today.

The Loggers first took on Vincennes University. The Loggers fell to Vincennes in 5 sets; 25-17, 15-25, 25-18, 23-25 &12-15. The Loggers battled hard despite the 5 set loss. Olivia Torricelli got her first true start for the Loggers, playing defensive specialist for Bella Pasquino. Bella Powell led the Loggers with a rare triple double having 13 kills, 13 digs and 10 aces. Emily Veach had 21 assists in the 5 set match. Isabel Hudspeth led the Loggers with 19 digs while Hannah Clayton had 16 digs. Josie Wolter had a team high of 8 total blocks while Carly Michels had 5 and Bella Pasquino had 6 total blocks.

After a long lay over, the Loggers took on #7 Ranked Kirkwood. The Loggers were swept by the Hawks. Set scores including 11-25, 19-25 & 20-25.

The Loggers continue tomorrow at Parkland against Iowa Central 11:00 pm & Des Moines Area 1:00 pm.
