The Lincoln Land men's basketball season came to a close Wednesday evening at the hands of Parkland, 90-63.

Lincoln Land was able to give Parkland all they could handle for most of the game. The Loggers led for a majority of the first half and held a lead as high as 8 7:00 into the game. Hot shooting by sophomore Jordan Brooks who had 12 in the first half kept Lincoln Land out in front and frustrated the Cobras in the first half knocking in almost 52% of their field goals. Offensive rebounds and Logger turnovers allowed Parkland to building their way back into the game and they took their first lead since 2-0 at 33-32 right before the half. Lincoln Land trailed at the break 37-33.

The first 5:00 of the second half saw Parkland building their advantage to double digits and the Loggers were never able to catch up. Lincoln Land fought back from down 19 to get back within 10 with just under 8:00 left in the contest, however, the Loggers ran out of gas and Parkland put the game away in the closing minutes . The Cobras led by the game high 27 with their final basket of the game and ballooned their advantage out higher than it was for majority of the game. Despite the big loss, Lincoln Land played with toughness and grit to force Parkland to earn the victory.

Lincoln Land had three scorers in double digits led by freshmen Keon Jones with 19. Jones also ended with 10 rebounds to achieve his 11
th double-double of the year. Sophomore Jordan Brooks ended with 13 and freshmen Garik Hill added 14.

Freshmen Keon Jones ended the season leading the Loggers in totals for every statistical category: points, rebounds, assists, steal, and blocks.

The Logger career came to an end for four sophomores: Jordan Brooks, Keon Day, Benji Eaker, and Blake Murphy.

Lincoln Land ends the season with a record of 4-27.
