GAME ONE:
Walk-Off Seals Win For State College Of Florida Against Lincoln Land Loggers Softball
A walk-off left Lincoln Land Loggers Softball on the wrong end of a 5-4 defeat to State College of Florida on Wednesday. The game was tied at four with State College of Florida batting in the bottom of the eighth when Emily Hughes's sac fly scored one run for State College of Florida.
Lincoln Land Loggers Softball lost despite out-hitting State College of Florida ten to eight.
Lincoln Land Loggers Softball got things started in the first inning. An error scored one run for Lincoln Land Loggers Softball.
In the top of the sixth inning, Lincoln Land Loggers Softball tied things up at four.  Abigail Walters singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Lincoln Land Loggers Softball scored three runs in the sixth inning.  Lincoln Land Loggers Softball's big bats in the inning were led by singles by Kayla Settles and Walters and a double by Katie Schaake.
Ally Hulme got the win for State College of Florida. She lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out six and walking zero.
Jacey Nall took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers Softball. She lasted two innings, allowing three hits and three runs.
Madi LoCastro started the game for State College of Florida. She lasted five and a third innings, allowing ten hits and four runs while walking one
Lincoln Land Loggers Softball collected ten hits on the day.  Schaake and Walters each managed multiple hits for Lincoln Land Loggers Softball.  Schaake went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Lincoln Land Loggers Softball in hits. Lincoln Land Loggers Softball was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Shaye Virgin made the most plays with five.
State College of Florida totaled eight hits in the game. Lauren Hutcherson and Lauren Lightbody all collected multiple hits for State College of Florida.
GAME TWO:
Lincoln Land Loggers Softball Smack 11 Hits, Lose To State College Of Florida
Scorekeepers were kept busy today during a high-scoring contest between State College of Florida and Lincoln Land Loggers Softball where Lincoln Land Loggers Softball lost 8-7.
Despite the loss, Lincoln Land Loggers Softball did collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, State College of Florida had nine hits on the way to victory.
Lincoln Land Loggers Softball fired up the offense in the first inning.  Lincoln Land Loggers Softball scored one run when Kayla Settles singled.
Lincoln Land Loggers Softball put up three runs in the second inning.  Rebecca Littrel and Shaye Virgin all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Samantha Hampton pitched State College of Florida to victory. She lasted four and a third innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out four and walking zero.  Hampton recorded the last 13 outs to earn the save for State College of Florida.
Katie Schaake took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers Softball. She surrendered one run on one hit over one and one-third innings.
Megan Behl started the game for Lincoln Land Loggers Softball. She surrendered zero runs on three hits over five innings Ally Hulme started the game for State College of Florida. She went three and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and striking out three
Lincoln Land Loggers Softball tallied 11 hits on the day. Littrel, Settles, Virgin, and Courtney Keller each managed multiple hits for Lincoln Land Loggers Softball.  Littrelwent 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Lincoln Land Loggers Softball in hits.
State College of Florida saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game.  Emily Hughes, Maddie Koczersut, and Carly Bogart each racked up multiple hits for State College of Florida. State College of Florida didn't commit a single error in the field. Madi Schaeferhad the most chances in the field with eight.
