On Wednesday the Logger men's basketball dropped a road contest to St. Louis Community College, 84-51 to fall to 2-16 on the season.
Around the 8:00 mark the Loggers trailed 17-13, but that was closest LLCC the would be the remainder of the way. The Archers closed with a 29-10 run. By the end of the half the Loggers found themselves doubled up and trailing 46-23. The Loggers committed 13 turnovers in the half, which gifted 16 points of turnovers to STLCC. Lincoln Land similarly struggled in the second half and trailed by as many as 35 on their way to the loss. St Louis shot nearly 50% on the evening and out rebounded the Loggers by 8 and committed 5 less turnovers.
Freshmen Darius Brewington was able to secure a double-double with 10 points and rebounds. Sophomore Jordan Brooks led the Loggers with 14 and sophomore Benji Eaker ended in double digits with 10.
Lincoln Land is off until the Monday holiday when they travel to Missouri to take on Mineral Area Community College.
