Box Score GAME ONE - Lincoln Land Loggers Can't Hold Up Against Parkland College
Lincoln Land Loggers couldn't keep up with Parkland College and fell 8-0 on Tuesday.
A single by Madie Sims in the first inning was a positive for Lincoln Land Loggers.Â
Morgan Parrish took the win for Parkland College. She went six innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out four and walking one. Megan Behl took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers. She allowed nine hits and seven runs over four and a third innings, striking out one and walking zero.
Sims went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Lincoln Land Loggers in hits.
Parkland College collected 11 hits on the day.  Bella Coffey and Kate Beckemeyer each had multiple hits for Parkland College.  Coffey led Parkland College with three hits in three at bats. Parkland College was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Parrishhad the most chances in the field with four.
GAME TWO - Parkland College Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory
Lincoln Land Loggers watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-1 loss to Parkland College on Friday. Parkland College took the lead on a home run in the first inning.
The Lincoln Land Loggers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Parkland College, giving up 11 runs. In the first inning, Lincoln Land Loggers got their offense started.  Kari Sarhage hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run. Parkland College scored six runs in the second inning.  Lauren Wendling, Kate Beckemeyer, Camryn Skundberg, Emma Newton, Bella Coffey, and Summer Johnson all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Tori Witruk was the winning pitcher for Parkland College. She allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out four and walking zero.  Beckemeyer threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Jacey Nall took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers. She went one inning, allowing eight runs on four hits and striking out one.
Nicole Robinson led Lincoln Land Loggers with two hits in two at bats.
Parkland College totaled ten hits.  Beckemeyer, Newton, and Wendling all managed multiple hits for Parkland College.
